When Baltimore is your home and the city where you got engaged, its only natural to have your engagement photos taken there as well!
Maddy and Jack met for the first time on a dock in Fell’s Point for drinks. Well, drinks turned into dinner and the couple found themselves talking late into the night. Now, they are planning their wedding! Maddy told me she wanted their engagement session to take place on the waterfront where they first met and oh my goshhh did their photos turn out to be MAGIC!
A Fells Point, Baltimore Engagement Session
I met Maddy and Jack in Baltimore (Fells Point to be exact) with the waterfront and cobblestone streets creating a beautiful backdrop for their engagement photos. We started their session about two hours before sunset and were able to catch the most spectacular evening light.
As we were walking past one of the roped off boat docks, a sweet man on one of the sailboats saw us looking out and asked us if we would like to take photos on the pier. What an absolutely serendipitous moment! The photos we took on the dock with the boats and the Domino Sugar sign in the background are some of my most favorite from the whole session.
Sunset Engagement Photos
I love to recommend sunset engagement photos, because the light towards the end of the day is soft and flattering. The light at sunset also ensures your photos will have a dreamy quality to them! Alternatively, sunrise sessions can also have that dreamy look!
