Eleanor’s Fairytale Nursery

I had so much fun putting together little miss Eleanor’s nursery. Starting out, I didnt have a specific “theme” in mind. I knew I wanted to incorporate my love for antiques and I also wanted it to have a boho vibe. Most of all, I wanted it to be a space that would grow with her and didn’t scream “BABY”!

Growing up, my grandparents owned an antique consignment shop. Spending time there inspired my love for all things unique and pre-loved. I love mixing different pieces together that don’t necessarily all match, but all “go” together.

The room we used for Eleanor’s nursery is on the small side. If it wasn’t used for her nursery, it could be a large walk in closet! Because of the small size, I had to be very intentional with the furniture I brought in: An antique dresser doubles as a changing table, the rocking chair is compact, and I utilized vertical wall space where I could.

With the pops of color in the wall hanging and rug, I decided to keep the wall color clean and bright. I went with Simply White by Benjamin Moore (tip: Lowes can mix up the same exact color at a fraction of the price!)

I love how it turned out!

I linked as much as I could at the end of this post:)

Ain’t no hood like motherhood 🙂
Sparkly Kate Spade Keds were a must.

To avoid the closet door taking up room in an already cramped space, I removed the door and hung a pom pom curtain over the closet.

To organize clothing by size in the closet, I got dividers from Amazon.

A screen door is super helpful to keep our 4 legged family members out of the room.
