A Wedding At Murray Hill in Leesburg, Virginia

Allie and Max said “I do” on a May evening at Murray Hill with all of their family and friends present to witness. The flowers in the garden were blooming, the warm breeze was blowing, and the cicadas in the trees were singing….the sights and sounds of summer. The Murray Hill Wedding Experience

Murray Hill is an 18th century style home in Leesburg, Virginia. It boasts a riverside view, multiple gardens, a reflecting pool, and a reception barn.

Multiple location options for your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception

Ceremonies are beautiful overlooking the Potomac River. Hold your cocktail hour on the grassy bluff overlooking the river or in the secret garden with the reflecting pool.

The reception barn can accommodate up to 200 wedding guests.

The Secret Garden

Through the rose arbor is the secret gardena and reflecting pool. Prior to their ceremony, Allie and Max shared a first look next to the reflecting pool.  Thankfully, there were handkerchiefs on hand. Afterwards, we spent some time in the garden among the peonies for bride and groom portraits.

At their reception, the couple surprised everyone with a first dance that included spins and lifts. Their surprise performance must have involved lots of practice! Everyone danced into the night to a live band and took photos in front of a neon sign that was lit up especially for Allie and Max.
