Harper’s Ferry Engagement Session

While you are thinking of places to go for your engagement session, I encourage you to think about what you like to do as a couple and incorporate it into your photos! For Karina and Nikita, it is wandering out of the city and exploring new places! They love hiking and chose Harper’s Ferry as the location for their chic winter engagement session.

Harper’s Ferry is the perfect location for an engagement photos because of  it’s neutral, historic landscape. The brick and stone buildings are the most beautiful backdrop for a chic engagement session with neutral attire. Karina and Nikita wore shades of white, grey and black which complimented their surrounding perfectly, especially in the winter!

Visiting Harper’s Ferry

While visiting Harper’s Ferry for engagement photos, there are a few things to be aware of The first is parking. There are several parking areas, most of which require a permit or a parking meter that must be paid. Plan ahead to allow a little extra time to pay these fees ($20 for a 3 day pass, and less for the pay by the hour metered spots). All fees can be paid on line, via your cellphone.

Since Harper’s Ferry is down near the river and at the bottom of a mountain, cell phone service can be spotty. Make sure to plan accordingly.
